Fathi Otmani – The Most High

The upcoming Dutch-born Nasheed singer Fathi Otmani recently launched his first video clip named The Most High. We asked him a few questions, enjoy it.

1) Fathi, tell us something about your childhood, how was that like?

Born and raised in Amsterdam/The Netherlands. It was alhamdoulilah very instructive childhood. Even now I still let every moment in my life inspire me, from all the good and bad moments and experiences. This helps me to compose, produce, sing and write my music, alhamdoulilah.

2) When did you discover your talent and how did you develop it?
I can’t really point out a specific which moment where I discovered something. What I can tell is that I started writing when I was 14. From that point on my interest in making music really came in my life alhamdoulilah.

3) What are you future plans?
I want to record my debut album Inshallah and get to reach more brothers and sisters from around the world with my music to share my message with. I also would like to do some charity work Inshallah because personally I think charity work is really important as there are many who are calling us for help.

4) Which European countries have you visited?
I visited England and Belgium so far, and hopefully more to come Inshallah in the near future!

5) What would be your advice to the people who want to pursue a singing career like you?
My advice would be believe in yourself if you have talent and when you really have a message to share. And at the end of the day, hard work and dua’s to Allah swt, with the last one as the most important.
